Dallas Plano Chinese Calligraphy & Painting classes
Calligraphy classes in Dearfield Community
Meet on every other Sunday afternoons.
This pattern may be altered if:
- I have an event at that time (You will be notified at least 2 weeks in advance).
- Rainy days and severe weather
- National holidays
Tuition is $300 for 10 classes. Each class is 1.5 hours.
Beginner's single pass is $40.
Bonus for referral: If you refer a new student, your tuition will be 20% off per referral while s/he is enrolled. Your tuition will be 100% off if you have 5 referrals while they all stay in classes.
Painting classes in Dearfield Community
- Meet on selected weekend afternoons, about 2 or 3 times per month. (Similar to calligraphy patterns - to be arranged.)
- Tuition is $500 for 10 classes. Each class is 2 hours.
- Beginner's one-time single pass is $40.
- Discount if you learn both calligraphy and painting.
- We start from the basics - don't worry.
Small Group Chinese Calligraphy Class (1 to 4 persons)
Plano Library (Calligraphy only)
- Private classes in early evenings, some weekdays - available after June 2026 by appointment.
- Each class is 1.5 hours.
- 4 attending: 4 x $40 (Maximum 4 persons)
- 3 attending: 3 x $60
- 2 attending: 2 x $70
- 1 attending: 1 x $80
1 person attending - 1.5 hour calligraphy

People learning Chinese brush calligraphy usually will not achieve fast results. Just like the violin but unlike the piano, a Chinese brush has no markings, thereby greater mental and physical focuses are demanded, but are often neglected unawaringly.
We only accept serious and consistent students with disciplines and personality.
